The Dodgers also made two other roster decisions. Kyle Hurt has been optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City after posting a 4.43 ERA over 43.2 MLB innings in 2026.
Meanwhile, outfielder Alek Thomas has been designated for assignment to create room on the 40-man roster. Thomas appeared in seven games for Los Angeles and went 4-for-19 with three RBIs and a .513 OPS.
The Dodgers acquired Thomas in May after the Arizona Diamondbacks designated him for assignment.
